MemPad is a simple text-based outliner and note-taking software with a structured index. It offers a range of editing features such as cut, copy, paste, undo, date/time insertion, and drag/drop. It also supports web links, network and local file/folder links (without needing full paths), and internal page links. Environment variables can be used in file links to launch programs. The index structure can be easily modified with buttons, context menus, and hotkeys. MemPad automatically saves data without prompting.
